Day Dream

It is the ideal time to daydream

This has to be life's perfect theme!

The clouds are showering away

Its such a beautiful day

The gentle breeze has a wet blow

And everything around has a soft glow!

The sky above looks heavy and grey

The earth has fashioned a lovely display

Bright yet muted colours are at play

Like from a painting by Claude Monet!

The spider on its web with a raindrop

From my window grill they eavesdrop

All they see is me at the pane

So lost in just watching the rain!

There is silence in the air

Puddles of water everywhere

The street ahead is shiny and silver

Reflecting the beauty around like a mirror!

The rainwater flows in tiny streams

Such pretty designs just like my dreams.

It is the ideal time to daydream

This has to be life's perfect theme!

Lets make the time for fantasy

Or search life for something more worthy

If we seek, they will come true

If and when their time is due!
